Tasked with reimagining a bathroom for a bachelor’s bedroom, this project focused on creating a door-less layout that felt open, light, and intentionally minimal. The client envisioned a space that was visually connected to the bedroom yet functionally distinct — a balance we struck through the use of a glass brick partition wall. This feature allows soft, diffused light to travel between spaces while maintaining just the right amount of privacy.
To maximize the natural brightness from both the glass bricks and the existing skylight above the bathtub, the vanity mirror was thoughtfully placed on this wall, reflecting and amplifying the available light throughout the space.
A subtle yet grounded green theme runs through the vertical tiled walls, softened by concrete-finish elements that keep the design light, modern, and masculine without feeling heavy. Underfoot, wood-look tiles add warmth and texture, enhancing the spa-like atmosphere without compromising on durability. The result is a clean, cohesive bathroom — both understated and indulgent, just the way the client envisioned.
